Westport Selectman to Name May 14 Great Gatsby Day

Westport, CT - Westport First Selectman Jim Marpe will proclaim May 14th as Great Gatsby Day to commemorate F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald’s time in Westport. He will lead a ceremony in front of 244 Compo Road South, Westport, at 11am on the 14th, accompanied by Richard “Deej” Webb and Robert Williams author of Boats Against the Current: The Honeymoon Summer of Scott & Zelda and producers of a forthcoming film on the same topic. Also in attendance, Ramin Ganeshram, Executive Director of Westport Historical Society.
