Journey "under the sea" in Ariel’s adventures with her aquatic friends! Westport Summer Teen Theater (WSTT), in partnership with Westport Continuing Education, presents its 15th summer production, “Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR.” The performances will be presented by a highly talented group of students from grades 5 - 9 at Saugatuck Elementary School on July 18, 19 and 20 at 7pm and July 20 at 2pm. TIckets are $15 for adults and $12 for children and available for purchase online here:  https://tinyurl.com/yxbb3v3u.

Touted as the “rebirth of Disney in the modern era,” this tale centers on the mermaid Ariel and her fascination with life on land. On one of her visits to the surface, which are forbidden by her controlling father, King Triton, she falls for a human prince. Determined to be with her new love, Ariel makes a dangerous deal with the sea witch Ursula to become human for three days. But when plans go awry for the star-crossed lovers, the king must make the ultimate sacrifice for his daughter.
