Friends of Sherwood Island announce Shorefest on a Roll, Sunday, September 20 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.

Take a family drive through SherwoodIsland State Park with fun entertainment along the way. As you exit the Park, pick up your fresh curbside lobster roll dinner!
Guests will be treated to a rolling tour of the park accompanied by a podcast describing the history and fabulous features of the 236 acre gem - the oldest park in Connecticut, and a lobster roll-to-go feast.
Our guests will be treated to entertainment including a field of whirligigs, exotic kites, disc golf exhibitions, several socially distanced musical performances and model plane flyovers at the park airfield all while cruising our loop at about 10mph. The only stop will be near the end of the tour to pick up their prepaid hot or cold lobster roll dinners safely and contact-free. The entire loop will take about 12 minutes.
