Governor Bysiewicz Joins Westport Young Women's League to Highlight New Local Initiative

On Monday, Jan. 11 at 1 p.m., Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz will join the Westport Young Woman’s League for a virtual press conference to highlight a new local initiative that will help raise funds for the organization’s Community Grant Program.

This year, the Westport Young Woman’s League has partnered with Westport-area small businesses — Pure Barre, the Row House and Salon Paul Michael — to launch a new initiative that will help raise funds for the organization's Community Grant Program. Through this initiative, any new customer who purchases a workout package at either Pure Barre or the Row House or books an appointment at Salon Paul Michael, 15 percent of the purchase will be donated to the Westport Young Woman’s League in support of their Community Grant Program.

During the 2019 to 2020 year, the Westport Young Woman’s League awarded $90,000 to 25 non-profit organizations in Fairfield County.
