Building on the success of last summer’s outdoor concerts, MoCA Westport announces a new Music at MoCA Concert Series featuring a diverse line-up of thirteen Jazz, Pop, and Classical performances. The concerts will be held outdoors at the Museum from April – October 2021.
A variety of Concert Series ticket packages are available for purchase, including the Music at MoCA Season Pass (all 13 concerts), a Jazz package (4 concerts), a Pop package (5 concerts) and a Classical package (4 concerts). Tickets for each concert can also be purchased on an individual basis. Tickets are available on MoCA Westport’s website (mocawestport.org) or by calling the Museum at 203/222-7070.
Three of the Jazz concerts will once again feature performers from the Jazz at Lincoln Center Emerging Artist Spotlight series, including the Alexa Tarantino Quartet, whose performance was a highlight of MoCA Westport’s 2020 Concert Series.
Alexander Platt, MoCA Westport’s Concert Series Curator, stated, “We have searched far and wide to present the most entertaining and talented artists around. Our Music at MoCA Concert Series features a range of musical styles while also reflecting the diversity of today’s sought-after performers.”
“Our concerts last summer featuring Jazz at Lincoln Center (JALC) artists were wildly successful, and we are thrilled to once again feature JALC talent on our stage,” Platt added.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chair seating. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at each event, including alcoholic beverages for attendees 21+.
