Featured favorites from Rodgers and Hammerstein, Bernstein, Sondheim, Lerner & Lowe, Cole Porter and Jerry Herman will be performed by some of the best talents from the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players.
A one-of-a-kind show that proves the Gilbert and Sullivan repertoire is fun, fresh, and full of life. The twist of the show features some ingeniously rewritten lyrics for Gilbert and Sullivan tunes juxtaposed with more modern theater. The audience will follow along and discover how Gilbert and Sullivan have been "used and infused into Broadway shows for years." This will be an evening celebrating great theater works of composers and lyricists from the 20th century who are truly the living legacy of Gilbert and Sullivan.
