There’s another arts festival this weekend - but this one will be like nothing you’ve probably experienced before. The ART maniFESTation, produced by Norwalk’s MAD Lab in the ArtPark in Isaac Square, Norwalk, features a mural competition, interactive art installations, workshops, live music & entertainment, an eclectic artisan market, and food trucks. The festival is designed to showcase a vibrant community committed to advocating for creative expression, individual empowerment, and collective cultural elevation. From noon to 6 on Saturday. Join in the fun!

There should be enough music this weekend to satisfy all tastes. Fairfield Museum’s Jazz Fridays series climaxes this Friday at 6:30pm with Chris Coogan and his band

Saturday 7:30pm at Westport’s Levitt Pavilion, Music, Classic Country, Western Swing and Rockabilly music come together in the form of GUNSMOKE - Nashville recording artists who have been entertaining audiences for over 25 years and have been elected “Band of the Year” six years in a row by the New York Metro Country Music Association.

Saturday at 7pm in Ridgefield’s Ballard Park, the Ridgefield Theater Barn presents some of the finest voices in the area at the Second Annual Concert for the Community. Jaime Babbit, Christopher Balestriere, Robert Geils, Charlotte Grey, Meaghan Elliott, Cathy Malloy, Melissa McGuire, Miran Roberts, Carly Stern, Zachary Theis, and Michael Vilanoti are among the vocalists in this evening of outstanding music in the beauty of Ballard Park, in the center of Ridgefield.

On Sunday, you can start in Norwalk with a Jazz Brunch at The Norwalk Art Space with Music Director David DeJesus and his quartet playing jazz standards from the great saxophone masters like Charlie Parker, John Coltrane and Joe Henderson.

You can continue by staking out some space at Bridgeport’s The Klein’s outdoor concert space for the grand finale of Tour For Life 2021, featuring legendary hip-hop artist RAKIM, Cappadonna of Wu Tang Clan, Jen Durkin's Steal Your Funk (Grateful Dead Tribute) and many more! Full bar, local vendors, food trucks, and Mental Health non-profit organizations on site! Sunday: 12-8pm.

You can then move back over to Ridgefield for the fusion of jazz, rock and the tropical rhythms of New York Yankees Center Fielder and Latin Grammy nominated jazz guitarist – Bernie Williams & His All-Star Band, who return to The Ridgefield Playhouse for a concert benefiting The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 4-6pm

And from 5:30 to 7pm you can relax with the serene and thoughtful brand of introspective folk and pop music of indie singer-songwriter P.J. Pacifico at the Weston Historical Society.
