Westoberfest Craft Beer and Fall Festival Returns to Downtown Westport on Saturday October 14th from 2-5PM on Elm Street
A wide collection of local and regional breweries will serve up their favorite seasonal craft beer tastings at Westoberfest on Saturday, October 14th at 2 pm in the heart of downtown Westport on Elm Street. No festival is complete without great food and live music, and Westoberfest will not disappoint. Local culinary favorites Walrus Alley, LobsterCraft, Little Pub, Los Poblanos, Dough Girls and Kneads will be on hand to satisfy any appetite. Patrons can sip and savor to the music of One Bad Oyster.
Beyond the exceptional craft beer experience by breweries such as Two Roads, CANN Social Tonic, Barn Brew Co, Nod Hill Brewing and many others, festival goers can visit a designated kids and family area adjacent to the beer festival where a pumpkin giveaway is sponsored by COMPASS, and The Artist Collective of Westport will be onsite to help with decorating. Families can enjoy activities with MoCA as well as face painting, amusement games and a bubble show in the children’s area along with an apple giveaway sponsored by The Riverside Realty Group. There truly is something for everyone at Westoberfest.
Westoberfest family activities and vendor areas are free to the public. Beer tasting participants receive an age verified wristband, unlimited tastings, as well as a collectible Westoberfest tasting glass and beer koozie, sponsored by Lux Bond & Green. Scores of tastings from a variety of award winning and innovative breweries, an assortment of fun fall activities, and a location steps away from the best shops and restaurants Westport has to offer, Westoberfest is the perfect way to spend an October afternoon with friends and family. There will also be vendors on site including Carib Creations, Fairfield Theatre Company, Stretch Zone, Savvy + Grace, and more. The vendors will be accessible and free to browse for the public and outside of the roped off beer tasting area.
