Book Sale at Westport Library on Wednesday, October 25 from 6:30 - 8:30pm
We are piloting an expansion of our employment program, to engage employees with differing abilities in our new eBay sales business. Participation in our ebay business will provide training in valuable computer, data entry and office-type skills, broadening the work experience and marketability of our employees. And it will provide support for our fledgling online sales business.
Join us at the Westport Library on October 25, 2023 for Chapter Two: Spanning From Retail to E-Tail: Developing Tech Skills, and help us raise funds to support this next phase of our employment program. Join us for live music, light bites & beverages, a paddle raise and both a live and a silent auction of a representative sample of the kinds of things we sell on eBay, plus artwork and signed books donated uniquely for this event.
Auction items include: a first edition of Saint-Exupery's The Little Prince -- a poster autographed by Sylvester Stallone -- 2 new copies of The New Yorker in Westport donated by its authors Eve Potts and Andrew Bentley -- a custom lenticular artwork created by Miggs Burroughs -- and much more! PLUS bid on the opportunity for you and three guests to have one hour exclusive access to our next big Westport Library Big Fall Book Sale Event on December 1, 2023 or our Westport Library Big Spring Book Sale Event on May 17, 2024 , before anyone else is admitted to the sale!
