In recognition of Arbor Day, on Friday, April 29, the Tree Board will host its annual native sapling giveaway from 3pm to 4pm at the front driveway at Westport Town Hall (110 Myrtle Avenue).
First Selectwoman Jennifer Tooker will read a proclamation establishing Westport’s recognition of Arbor Day and the Town’s selection as a ‘Tree City USA’ per the Arbor Day Foundation.
Native saplings for a giveaway on a first-come, first serve basis will be donated by the Bartlett Tree Company.
