The Arts Are Greater Than Online Art Exhibit supports artists and creative expression

Twenty-six artists will present at The Arts Are Greater Than Art Exhibit hosted by the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut.

The exhibit, showcasing fine art and creative voices related to current affairs, opens virtually on Nov. 13 at 5:30 p.m. as part of The Arts Are Greater Than fundraising event.

“This exhibit will express the power of the arts through creative expression individually and as whole,” said Lisa Scails, executive director of the Cultural Alliance. “What is art if it doesn’t make you think? Or feel? Or Question?”

Original artwork will be for sale to invest in the arts, support artists and the Cultural Alliance. A preview of the show will be sent to everyone who registers. Major support is provided by People’s United Bank and by DECD CT Office of the Arts
