Tell us about an organization in your town that makes you feel good
I lived in Westport for 23 years and my son went through the public school system, which was incredible for him. We loved going to the Westport Library and would spend a lot of time snuggling in a corner while reading books. I currently have an art show hanging in the main hallway, so my love for the library is at an all-time high. They are so supportive of the arts and I couldn’t be more appreciative.
Where do you go for inspiration and creativity?
I live on Pine Creek and across the street from the beach, so I don’t need to go far. I love the way the water glistens and glitters depending on the light and we get the sunsets, which are gorgeous.
What do you love about your community?
When we moved from Westport we didn’t know a soul here. Within a few weeks of living here, we were invited for dinner at a neighbor’s house. We hadn’t even met them! There was a snowstorm and everyone was barefoot and casual and I was blown away by the warmth and embrace. We have the most amazing community of people and I am still amazed by the outpouring of love, care and generosity that binds us together.
