Tell us about an organization in your town that makes you feel good
An organization in town that makes me feel good is A Better Chance of Westport. I love that they continue to provide life-changing educational opportunities to so many boys and young men who become wonderful members of our community. Since 2005, with the support of A Better Chance, there have been twenty-five Staples High School graduates who have gone on to four-year colleges and universities, graduate school, and embarked on successful careers!
Where do you go for inspiration and creativity?
I enjoy walking the beaches of Westport. In addition to South Beach at Compo, I love exploring the paths and beaches at Sherwood Island which happens to be Connecticut’s first state park! Inspiration for my craft comes from nature. When walking at Sherwood Island, I photograph the patterns and colors for my graphic design work at Ruzow Graphics.
What do you love about your community?
I’m thankful for the friends that I have made during my children's journeys through the Westport school system. I love that they have developed lifelong friendships and it's heartwarming to see them come back to town as adults!
