With the backdrop of sprawling 300 acres overlooking a sparkling lake in the Berkshire Mountains of Kent, Connecticut, Club Getaway Family Camp provides families all of the natural and manmade resources necessary to create memories that last a lifetime.

The fun and restoration begin upon checking into Club Getaway. Think: a family-style carnival, teen program, and yes a bar for the adults!
Oh, checking in and accommodations...there are cabins, nice cabins that sleep up to four or five people comfortably. “They are all air-conditioned and have heat. Each family will get their own cabin, sometimes two,” says Schreiber, who adds, “Of course, family friends can request to be near each other.”
There is age-appropriate enjoyment for all family members - from babies to teens, tweens, mom, dad, even grandparents! “Each group is broken up by age, with a counselor, and has a set activity schedule,” says Schreiber.
Families get active - together, at Family Camp. Action-packed activities include Mountain Biking, High Adventure Ropes course, seven zip lines, Giant Swings, Trapeze, Hiking, Geronimo Jump, Bungee Trampoline, Inflatables, and The BEAST Climbing Challenge.
The games are plentiful. “Family Olympics, Family Wiffle Ball, Archery Tag, New this year is Family Zombie Tag, family happy hour, Morning time SHAKE AND WAKE which includes smoothies and a really fun morning time dance party to wake everyone up!” says Schreiber.
And when the sun sets on the most magnificent day you have ever experienced, be entertained by a magician, the Harlem Wizards, or good old-fashioned square dancing. And what’s camp without a nightly campfire, and of SMORES?
