April Break Program at Westport Historical Society

April vacation week, April 9 through April 13, at Westport Historical Society features inventions and story-telling for children ages 6-11. April is Inventors’ Month and the week is packed with fun opportunities to invent and learn about inventors from the nutmeg state. From 9am until 3pm, children will get to make their own submarine, creating bonnets and hats, and play with famous Connecticut inventions like the frisbee!

We are pleased to offer these interactive and engaging programs to explore our local and national history with hands-on crafts, games, and exciting special guests.

Please bring a bag lunch Monday – Thursday: on Friday, April 13, we will have a pizza lunch. Themed snacks will be made each day.

Limited registration online at www.westporthistory.org. Please call (203) 222-1424 for single day reservations and scholarship opportunities.  No child will be turned away because of financial need.

Full week: $250 members/$300 non-members, Per day: $75, $10 sibling discount
