About Westport Ski & Sport

John and Susan Alberino had one mission in mind when they opened their business in 1976: provide the highest level of customer service while offering the finest outdoor products available. In October 2012 after 36 years of service, Susan closed the doors in New Canaan and passed the torch to her children Pam and Gio who opened a new location in Westport on the Post Road, next to the Sherwood Diner.

Three questions with Pam, owner of Westport Ski & Sport.

Why did you start your business?

The passion of the sport of skiing, to keep my fathers legacy and continue to his tradition, quality and service that kept his customers coming back year after year and generation after generation. Simply stated, “At Ski and Sport we take your play seriously!”

Best selling product/service?

We service all and our best asset in both our Westport and Ridgefield location is the special attention you get from Gio, personal customer service!

Finish this sentence in regard to your business: I wish I could...

I wish I could make every customer happy.
