Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story.

You're IT MISSION!

Three questions with Bernard Roesch co-founder, managing partner at MISSION.

Why did you start your business?

I started my business because I love working with QuickBooks software and enjoy helping business owners achieve their goals. We help QuickBooks users transform their accounting chaos into reliable data.

Best selling product/service?

Our best selling product and service is QuickBooks installation and support.  MISSION has an extended network of specialists who can be staffed on a client’s project team to address specific needs or solve issues. These specialists bring expertise in accounting system design, software engineering, data integration, financial modeling, and business consulting that make MISSION well positioned to serve your financial needs.

How many people do you employ? Any youth or seniors from the community?

We have one person who is a college student handling our social media. Most of our staff are close to contemplating retirement but enjoy working on a flexible basis into retirement.

MISSION is located at 36 Cross Highway in Westport. Call (203) 227-9475 or visit MISSION online here.
