Why Small Businesses Matter
Shop small, do big things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story.
You're IT SmartEdgeLaw Group!
Three questions with Richard Santalesa, Esq., founder of SmartEdgeLaw Group.
Tell me about your business
I launched the SmartEdgeLaw Group in 2014. The Sm@rtEdgeLaw Group™ is a new breed of law firm – nimble, tech-savvy, on the cutting edge – that breaks the mold of existing law practice to address legal issues in our fast-moving digital economy. Unlike traditional firms that may simply provide legal rationales, we go beyond the norm to also focus on structuring your agreements and operations to minimize legal risks while developing your business.
Finish this sentence in regard to your business. “I wish I could…”
I wish I could provide every company and individual with the legal counsel they need, when they need it, to help their businesses work smoother, better and more profitably.
What is your best selling product/service?
It's difficult to say, but our bread and butter is transactional legal work and contract drafting, review and negotiations. Given the technical world of 2019, we like to say that “If information runs through it, is stored on it or is created by it we can handle the legal issues." Our fundamental approach is simple: Efficiently meet your legal needs, whether you are a new start-up or established household name. We apply the latest technology and best practices to quickly give you a business and legal edge.
