Step inside Ruspini Realty

Four questions with Jennifer Ruspini, founder of Ruspini Realty.

Are you offering any new products or ways for customers to purchase your products or services that are popular during this crisis?

There is more to listing a property. Everyone or anyone knows a real estate broker, a stockbroker, or a doctor. But not all talents are the same. I have encountered lots of scenarios wherein an individual will call me in order to determine how much a particular property is worth. And most of the time, I have seen their home listed at the price I determined, but with a friend of theirs.

Nothing beats FRIENDSHIPS. But, if this friend is unable to establish your property's worth or lacks the expertise to value your property accurately, would it not be a reasonable conclusion to this friend's local market expertise? Real estate is not a part-time game. A qualified agent is handling the largest investment you will possibly ever make. Would you trust this investment to someone without in-depth local area knowledge? My secret to success is to carry that ball all the way to the gold line. Experience counts.

The Covid-19 crisis had not impacted my personal success but it has impacted this business severely. Listing with the wrong broker could place your sale at the mercy of the Covid-19 crisis rather than the expertise of the listing agent.

As a buyer, you are screening a home before you make a purchase. Would it make sense to screen the listing agent with the same diligence?

Are there certain individuals or organizations that supported you and your business through this trying time?

Yes, the NATIONAL REO BROKER ASSOCIATION, CONNECTICUT BOARD OF REALTORS, NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS (NAR), FANNIE MAE, FREDDIE MAC, HUD, CAR, and a number of national sellers including but not limited to and a number of WALL STREETS LOAN PURCHASERS.

Please share the ways your business is adapting to keep your customers and employees safe in addition to the standard guidelines

With the financial crisis related to the Covid-19 issue, we should not gloss over the standard guidelines as they are critical. In addition to the Standard Guidelines, I ensure the safety and protection of my clients' health with an adequate supply of cleaning products, gloves, masks, shoe coverings, and hand sanitizers left at each listing.

What do you want the community to know? Are there ways for the community to help you and other local businesses to prosper?

I would like the community to know that we are a full-service real estate brokerage. We make a commission when we sell. We appreciate you taking the time to call our office about our listings - not because of convenience, but you are ready to purchase a home in the next 3-6 months and are pre-approved by financial institutions.
