Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Creative Acoustics!

Four questions with David Allan Greenberg, founder of Creative Acoustics.

Why did you start your business?

So I could work for myself performing my specialty consulting.

What is your best selling product/service?

Acoustics consulting for performing arts building projects.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

Nearly all of our work is outside the community. The only major project we’ve done recently was the Performing Arts Center associated with Greenwich High School.

Have you "reimagined" your small business?

Yes, in the sense of growing it to include partners and more employees, but our small size has allowed us to weather all economic downturns and pandemics in the 20 years since our inception.

Creative Acoustics is located at 5 Inwood Lane in Westport. Visit them online here.
