Why did you start your business?
David Lerner Associates has been dedicated to building and preserving clients’ assets since 1976. I joined in 2005 after working at the NYSE for a few years. I was interested in meeting with people in person. To this day, I still enjoy the personal relationships and face-to-face meetings I have with clients while helping them plan for the future and protect their families.
What is your best-selling product/service?
The product that we are most known for is free! With our free Financial Review, I meet face-to-face with you and help you plan for your financial future. By asking the right questions, we’ll work together to create strategies that help you reach your financial goals, whether it’s retirement savings or funding your child’s (or grandchild’s) education.
We focus on investments designed to produce interest, dividends, and/or distributions. We can meet at your home, at our Westport office, and these days, virtually if you prefer.
We frequently hold investment seminars hosted at local venues, such as the Westport Inn and the Longshore Country Club. We also build relationships with the community by sponsoring events such as a golf tournament for the Westport Police Athletic League (PALs), the Westport Fine Arts Festival, the Westport Dog Show, the Westport Maker Faire, and the Westport Bluesfest.
As a fellow musician, I appreciate firsthand how important it is to support the arts. I am very proud that David Lerner Associates is a frequent sponsor of “Blues, Views, and BBQs” at the Leavitt Pavillion for the Performing Arts. Each year I look forward to participating in this event and enjoying some great music at the same time!
