Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Lunch Box!

The Lunch Box serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Whether dining in or ordering take-out or delivery, the Lunch Box is sure to appeal to all ages.

Four questions with Josh Tolk, founder of Lunch Box.

Why did you start your business?

My wife and I chose to purchase the business as an investment for our family and to provide a service for our community of Weston where we reside.

What is your best-selling product/service?

Our menu is large, eclectic and we offer quality and value for our customers. However, our best service is our entire staff! You can view the menu (including specials and cocktails) here.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

Our service vendors are primarily Connecticut-based businesses, a list too long to name, but folks we work very closely with on a regular basis.

Have you "reimagined" your small business?

We are very comfortable with change and are constantly pivoting and "reimagining" on a regular basis.
