Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT NutriGreene!

Three questions with Nicole Barrato, founder of NutriGreene.

Why did you start your business?

I started my business because I wanted to help individuals fine-tune their personal nutrition.

What is your best-selling product/service?

Individualized meal plan. Whether our clients want to lose or gain weight, help prevent or treat a disease, tackle a food allergy, or just want to learn healthy eating, we work with them on creating meal plans to help them reach their nutrition goals. We are unique in that we are in-network with multiple insurance companies, so clients have little to no out-of-pocket expense for our services.

Have you "reimagined" your small business?

My business started in 2021 with myself as the sole provider. Now 10 years later, we have grown to have 8 dietitians in the practice, two local offices, and telehealth services.

Nicole would like to nominate CST50 to be featured next!
