Only Two More Westport Farmers’ Markets Before Christmas!

Westport, Conn.—Thursday, December 16th and Thursday, December 23rd will be the last two days before Christmas to stock up on local food and gifts during Westport Farmers’ Market (WFM) at Gilbertie’s Herbs and Garden Center. Local farmers, prepared food vendors, and artisans with one-of-a-kind crafts will have all of your holiday food and gift-giving needs in one location!

“Shoppers can support local farmers and artists and find everything for their holiday entertaining in one place,” said Lori Cochran-Dougall, executive director of WFM. “Where else can you check off your grocery and gift list without driving all over?”

WFM takes place at Gilbertie’s Herbs and Garden Center, itself an area icon for Christmas trees, holiday plants, ornaments, and more, from 10 – 2 on the 16th and 23rd. In addition to its familiar list of vendors, the next two markets will feature surprise guest artisans, music, caroling, food, and beverages. Tables are set up for enjoying lunch with friends. And children of all ages are invited to participate in Get Growing, a popular children’s craft event.

If you haven’t experienced WFM during the holidays, or if you are a regular, make these last two Thursdays before Christmas your one-stop holiday shopping destination!
