Director of Parks and Recreation Jennifer Fava has announced that an online survey related to the Longshore Capital Improvement Plan (LCIP) has been released.
Ms. Fava stated, “The Town has engaged Stantec, a landscape architect, planning and engineering firm, to bring creativity and broad-based thinking to develop recommendations for replacement, relocations and/or enhancement of existing facilities and potentially new facilities for Longshore Club Park. At this stage in the process, Stantec is sending the community-wide survey to gather input from our residents. A website, which will have information on the project as it progresses, is also being launched.”
She continued, “The survey will be sent to residents through the Parks and Recreation Department’s database and will be accessible via the project website as well. It will be available through June 14, 2022, so residents are encouraged to submit their survey responses as soon as possible.”
First Selectwoman Jennifer Tooker said, “We are excited to be moving forward with the Longshore Capital Improvement Plan. It will provide a necessary roadmap as we proceed with enhancing one of our Town’s greatest assets.
More information and opportunities for public input will be available as the process continues into the Fall of 2022.
