Why did you start your business?
I started my business to help people solve their health problems. Most of the people I treat want to know why they're sick. They usually can't get an answer from their regular doctor for various reasons, one being short visit lengths. Not much can be accomplished in a 15-20 minute visit. Most people who seek alternative medicine have chronic, unresolved issues and are tired of being invalidated or talked over. There's always a story behind everyone's health issues.
There are usually multiple contributing factors, and it takes at least an hour to get into that. People need individualized attention and someone who has the time to care. My visits are 90 minutes, which leaves time to explore the underlying causes of illness, to provide people with the education and connection they're looking for, and to prescribe effective treatments without creating side effects or reliance on medicines. I focus on gastrointestinal disorders, mental health, and cancer.
What is your best-selling product/service?
Homeopathy is the most utilized service in my practice. I find it to be the most efficient way to resolve health problems. It's a truly holistic medicine that considers the mental and emotional state in addition to physical symptoms. It can be used for almost every health concern, for a variety of purposes, and the results can be stunning.
I use what I find works for people. Aside from homeopathy, I also prescribe various natural medicines like botanicals and nutritional supplements that improve detoxification, balance body systems and support organ function. Natural medicines are elegant, and they encourage doctors to embrace the artistic and humanistic side of medicine that was lost through the years.
My practice had been continually evolving since its inception two years ago. The world's state of affairs in 2020 and 2021 forced me to reimagine how I would break ground as a new practitioner. It was challenging to gain any traction or recognition at that time. People were scared, and when you're afraid, you fall back on what you know and trust.
It was a unique obstacle for new practitioners. I responded by publishing my first book, In Pursuit of Health, which I imagined would help establish trust in my brand after the smoke cleared from covid. I also reasoned that it would showcase some of my knowledge and dedication to my work. I have a lot to offer, and I often have to reimagine the ways I present my knowledge to people, partially because I'm evolving too.
