Why Small Businesses Matter
Shop small, do big things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!
You're IT Elizabeth Bolognino Interiors!
Four questions with Elizabeth Bolognino, founder of Elizabeth Bolognino Interiors.
Why did you start your business?
I started my business in 2011 when I had my first baby. I realized I could work while my daughter was asleep, which evolved into a full-time job!
What is your best-selling product/service?
I design luxury custom interiors, as well as full-service retail and restaurant design.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
Yes!! Westport Magazine/Moffly Media, Shearwater Coffee, La Plage for beautiful lunch meetings, Bartaco for drinks. Baker Graphics for our marketing materials, the UPS store for their unwavering awesomeness, and Apadana Rugs for their customer service, and great carpet installations.
We are reimagining what EBI looks like in Westport. Currently acquiring antiques and other specialty furniture items - there may be a pop-up store in my future!
