Whip Salon Westport Announces “Rock N Roll” Hair Raiser In Support of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
10% of Service Sales Donated on Friday, September 15th
On Friday, September 15th, Whip Salon Westport, will be holding a Rock N Roll theme day and “Hair Raiser” donating 10% of our service sales to the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention (AFSP), a cause that is close to the heart of one of our top stylists.
The talented team will be delivering the same great services, dressed with rock n roll flair while enjoying some of our favorite rockin' tunes. Whip Salon Westport is located in downtown Westport right in the heart of Bedford Square. The salon was first opened in February 2018 and has built a loyal clientele offering color, cutting and styling services as well as lash extensions and waxing.
Whip Salon Hair Raiser
A “Hair Raiser” (hair salon fundraiser) is a concept created by Whip Salon where the business promotes a particular cause for one or more days and donates a percentage of gross sales to the cause, often combined with stylists dressing specially for the occasion and with customized themed music and drinks on the day of the event. By booking an appointment for this Friday, September 15th, you’ll help by having 10% of your service cost donated to AFSP.
“A big part of our salon culture is giving back to the community,” said Amy Pal founder of Whip Salon. “We run Hair Raisers for all different causes so we encourage clients to bring charities to us that are near and dear to their hearts. Depending on whether a nonprofit is hyper-local or serves a larger area, we will involve one or more of our salon locations."
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is a voluntary health organization based in New York City, with its mission to "save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide."
