Westport Gets A New Voice

State Representative candidate Stephanie Thomas (143rd District) took her campaign to the Westport Town Hall last night in a debate sponsored by the Westport League of Women Voters.  She demonstrated she offers a new voice for Westport voters.

Democratic Women of Westport have enthusiastically endorsed Thomas.  “It is our honor to endorse Stephanie Thomas for State Representative in the 143rd District,” said Jenifer Gorin and Becky Martin, Co-Chairs of the Democratic Women of Westport. “Driven by self-initiative, Stephanie worked her way through high school, college, and graduate school.  Her background, including serving as president of a fundraising company before starting her own successful business, is the kind of experience we need in Westport.  She possesses the kind of drive that will help us tackle the issues we face and build a stronger, fiscally solvent, and more equitable Connecticut.”

Thomas will be in Westport on Thursday, November 1st (6:00 – 8:00 pm) at a phone banking event hosted by the Democratic Women of Westport. Voters are invited to come and meet the candidate at the Westport Democratic Town Committee offices (1767 Post Road East).  For more information: http://bit.ly/2F3Yafx.

Thomas said, “I want to thank the dedicated Democratic Women of Westport for their support and for hosting a phone bank. They understand the importance of supporting candidates who are idealistic but realistic, and won’t compromise their values just to ‘get along’ in Hartford.”
