The Eliot Lewis Duo, featuring Tyger MacNeal, will perform at The Redding Roadhouse on January 17

The musical evening features Eliot's original compositions and selected pop-rock covers beginning at 9pm, Friday, January 17th, at the Redding Roadhouse.

Since originally working together in 1989 with the Average White Band, local Redding resident Tyger MacNeal and Eliot Lewis, from Fairfield, will be performing together at the Redding Roadhouse Friday, January 17th, at 9pm. Together they will be playing Eliot's original compositions and songs from artists he has worked with.

Eliot Lewis is an independent artist and multi-instrumentalist and has been performing sold out shows all over the world with the legendary duo, Daryl Hall & John Oates. He is a featured musician on the weekly TV show "Live From Daryl's House" now in full rotation on the Palladia Music channel, VH1 as well as several other networks. He has also recently worked with many of the top artists in the music business including: Train, Joe Walsh, Cee Lo Green, Todd Rundgren, Booker T, Goo Goo Dolls, Dave Stewart, Smokey Robinson, Jewel, Rob Thomas, and Grace Potter to name a few.

Tyger MacNeal, a solid and versatile drummer of almost 30 years, originally performed with Eliot in the Average White Band as well as recording and performing with them throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States. In 1992, Tyger joined Jose Feliciano, internationally known singer and guitarist, to record and tour extensively around the world. Jose's hits "Light My Fire" and "Feliz Navidad" have become American standards. Tyger earlier has performed with others including The Four Tops, The Fifth Dimension, Rosemary Clooney, Billy Eckstein, Freddy Fender, The Shirelles and Little Anthony. When at home in Connecticut, Tyger is a member and co-writer for the smooth Jazz group, Private Island. He also maintains a busy freelance schedule as Broadway musician, studio musician, and private drum instructor.
