Does your child suffer from OCD, facial and/or vocal tics, rage, bedtime fears, separation anxiety, bedwetting, inability to concentrate, impulsivity/distraction, rapid mood swings, and/or handwriting deterioration? It may be a medical condition called PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal infections) and not a mental illness. A parent information and support group is being held on the first Tuesday of every month at The Coffee Barn on Danbury Road, in Wilton at 9am. Please join us to share stories, learn about area resources, and gather knowledge. The first meeting is Tuesday, May 6th.
