Located at 1936 Post Road, Darien, CT, Dom's Garden, Flowers & Gifts is harbor of charming presentation and friendly service. The store opened just a month ago by owner Felicia Venerusso–a vibrant woman and a passionate florist. According to the sites "About Us" page, Venerusso explains, "It's my passion and talent to make amazing flower arrangements & centerpieces. I love seeing the smiling faces when my clients see my flowers." Partners of the shop, Gloria Davis and Joe LaBella, are just as passionate for their products and an inviting atmosphere.
After scoping out the areas between New York and Fairfield County, they stumbled upon their current space back in January and called it home. Starting their venture just a few months ago, the store has come a long way. "We are pleased with business," said Davis. The store is already feeling the welcome of the town.
Davis explained how the store wanted to present itself with a "beachy feel," perfect for the summer. "A lot of our gifts have that beach theme," something many of us could look forward to after such a long and brutal winter.
Since opening, the store has been met by the friendly locals of Darien. "Even some men come in the store looking for gifts, and they're impressed," Davis pointed out. The store hopes to stand as a unique boutique with much to offer.
Jewelry and accessories are the stores bestsellers, but they offer so much more. They work with businesses around the New York and New England area to bring products not found in the local area. Some of their soy candles and all natural soaps are made by a small business in Newport Rhode Island. Furthermore, the store as reached out as far as California to bring in beautiful vegan products that feel like leather, while remaining cruelty free.
Dom's is excited to apart of beautiful Darien and invite all to come in and explore the shop. They even have special Darien merchandise with the town's royal blue color, the wave, and town's name. Products include t-shirts, masons jars, and bags.
