The Pilates Advantage Offers Free Online Meditation Classes and Opportunity for Community to Support Wilton Food Pantry

Beginning April 30th, The Pilates Advantage will offer complimentary Meditation Classes online every Thursday at 7:30pm for stress relief during this difficult time.

Certified Meditation Guide, Samantha Gosein of Conscious Unity, will guide this class of relaxation. Samantha is a certified Yoga Nidra Practitioner and specializes in intuitive spiritual counseling, sound healing, and has been teaching guided meditations for 5 years. Yoga Nidra is a sleep based guided meditation. Research has shown that a 30 minute session is the equivalent of 3 hours of deep sleep and practicing meditation has been proven to reduce stress, improve sleep, lower blood pressure, ease pain and improve your overall health.

In times of uncertainty and food insecurity, The Pilates Advantage has chosen to support the Wilton Food Pantry. They ask that people interested in taking the class make a donation to the Wilton Food Pantry by mailing a check (in any amount) made out to ‘Wilton Community Assistance Fund’ (501c3). Checks can be mailed (during the time that Comstock is closed) to the Wilton Police Department, 240 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT 06897. If you don’t want to mail a donation, please drop off a food donation outside of the Wilton Police Station in the designated area.

“Our mission at The Pilates Advantage is to support the community while offering classes to help center and align your mind and body through a holistic approach. With this offering we hope to raise funds for the Wilton Food Pantry and bring a sense of balance and peace while helping to alleviate feelings of anxiety at this unusual time.”
