Wilton Food Pantry Reopens in Comstock Community Center

This week, Wilton Social Services successfully transitioned from the makeshift food pantry back into their full-time food pantry in the lower portion of the Comstock Community Center.

In a message to the community, Wilton First Selectwoman Lynne Vanderslice said, "The outpouring of support from the community has been amazing.  As the numbers of individuals needing assistance from Social Services and the food pantry goes up, Social Services appreciates the support of the community during these difficult times."

Beginning Monday, April 27, 2020, hours of operation will be Monday and Wednesday from 12:00 pm-4:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.

  • Food Pantry may only be accessed by the side entry at Comstock Community Center.
  • Face coverings/masks and gloves or hand sanitizer use will be required prior to entering the food pantry.  Only two people/households will be allowed into food pantry at a time to ensure the minimum of 6 feet social distancing.
  • Please contact the Social Services Department at (203) 834-6238 for more information during the Coronavirus emergency.

The Wilton Food Pantry offers perishable and non-perishable food to eligible Wilton residents. Clients may visit the pantry on a weekly basis.

If you have any questions or you need help, please email Social Services Director Sarah Heath at sarah.heath@wiltonct.org.
