Wilton resident Adrienne Reedy has joined the KEYS Board of Directors

KEYS (Kids Empowered by Your Support) is proud to announce that Adrienne Reedy, recording gospel artist/worship leader and speaker, has joined the KEYS Board of Directors. Traveling around the country, as well as Africa and Central America, Adrienne shares the gospel message through singing. She is currently a music worship leader for North Stamford Community Church and a guest soloist for many churches throughout the country. Adrienne has recorded two cd’s, He Carries Me and The River is Here, and is currently in collaboration with a few other artists to embark on her third recording.

Adrienne's past leadership role with A Better Chance of Wilton (ABC) has raised money and awareness to open a community support program for both boys and girls. Since 2010, Adrienne has played Harriet Tubman in the Underground Railroad school program offered to 5th grade students in the public and private schools in Wilton, interacting with 300 students each year about the importance of seeing people beyond skin color and realizing people have more in common than differences. Adrienne is the Fairfield County Area Coordinator for National Day of Prayer, which requires her to oversee and develop prayer leaders who coordinate and organize annual community prayer events in over 25 towns. She is also the Chair of Music for Greenwich Pen Women.

Adrienne loves art and is a pastel artist - a newfound passion. Since 2018, she manages to add painting to her daily list of things to do. You will often find her painting outdoors and enjoying nature. She is a member of the CT Pastel Society.

Adrienne resides in Wilton where she and her husband Steve raised their three sons. Together, Adrienne and Steve do ongoing work in the ministry of racial reconciliation consulting with churches and various communities. Now done virtually, they host monthly dinners and facilitate conversations about race in America.

Adrienne manages to live a life where faith, art, and justice shape her worldview. Although she is new to the KEYS Board of Directors, she is not new to the organization. Adrienne has provided vocal coaching to KEYS students and looks forward to more engagement with the KEYS community.

About KEYS:

KEYS is a nonprofit music education organization whose mission is to bring one-to-one instrument lessons and group music instruction to underserved inner-city children in Bridgeport CT schools. As you can imagine, in this difficult year, so many challenges have disproportionately impacted the children and families of Bridgeport. KEYS is one of the local organizations that is working to counteract that. KEYS is part of an innovative public-private partnership that is providing music education and community resources in ways many of us take for granted. KEYS is on the ground making a difference, findings new ways to connect with our students while providing exciting new musical opportunities.
