My tasting notes: 50% Graciano, 50% Tempranillo. Would like to point out that the vines are manually harvested- which makes this wine even more special. Dark ruby in glass, BUT light on its feet. Spicy fruit, fresh earth, purple flower aromas- so pretty. The palate is dynamic and bright, balancing between the spicy tannin of the Graciano, and the earthy fruit of the Tempranillo, offering bright red cherries, a bit of lilac, and a slight earthy umami quality. Pair this beauty with everything Thanksgiving, golden Turkey, mashed sweet potato with halved pecans, topped with marshmallows, roasted beans, homemade cranberry sauce, and our house favorite (I know, not traditional, but crazy good): Cyprus Turkey stuffing: sauteed rice with caramelized onions, pine nuts and blonde raisins. Perfection.
