Fundraising Page Launched for Wilton Police SRO Elise Ackerman, Support this Courageous Police Officer and Mom of Two

The entire Wilton Police Department join in solidarity to support SRO Officer Elise Ackerman. Please join them by clicking here to visit a fundraising page launched by Lt. David Hartman Wilton PBA President.

Wilton School Resource Officer (SRO) Elise Ackerman and mother of two young children, was diagnosed several weeks ago with a very aggressive form of breast cancer.

Within two weeks of learning about her diagnosis, she began her first 20 weeks of chemotherapy. Several weeks later the hair on her head began to fall out and she made the decision to shave her head. Elise is a dedicated town employee and only misses work to receive her treatments. The Wilton Police Benevolent Association is asking for your help to give Elise and her family piece of mind during her extended time away from work, knowing that they will be able to cover unforeseen expenses. Your support means the world to her and to the Wilton PBA.

Support Officer Ackerman HERE.

"We stand with School Resource Officer Elise Ackerman. Diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year, SRO Ackerman has already begun her journey to being cancer-free. She has carried herself with strength, resilience, and grace, an inspiration to us all," fellow Wilton Police officers said.
