Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut (GWNC) today announced that it will close its Wilton donation station, located at 17 Danbury Road, effective June 25, 2023.
“Closing a location is always a difficult decision to make,” Rocco Tricarico, President & CEO, Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut, said. “As a nonprofit, this is one of those times when we recognize that we must adjust resources towards the locations that provide the best outcomes to maintain our mission services.”
“We are grateful to the loyal donors who have visited us in Wilton over the years,” Ken Bennett, VP of Retail and Facilities, Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut, said. “We hope that these generous individuals will continue to support our mission by donating at our nearby Norwalk and/or Ridgefield locations.”
Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut’s Wilton donation station has been open since May 1, 2018.
