First up, meet Toni Boucher (First Selectwoman – Candidate)

Q: Why are you running?

A: I am running for First Selectwoman so that I can champion our great schools and great neighborhoods, promote strong fiscal management, continue the legacy created by our First Selectman and the board of selectmen, and support the dedicated employees serving our great town.

Q: What are your goals if elected?

A: My unwavering commitment lies in championing a vision that encompasses the very essence of our community. I am dedicated to the cause of nurturing our exceptional schools, ensuring they continue to be beacons of knowledge and growth for our children. Likewise, I aim to fortify the bonds that make our neighborhoods great, fostering a sense of unity, safety, and belonging that defines our town. Sound fiscal management is a cornerstone of my platform, as I pledge to safeguard our financial resources, ensuring they are efficiently and prudently allocated for the betterment of all residents.

Q: What is one fun fact about you?

A: I spent my first Thanksgiving married to my husband who was an Air Force Captain 80 feet underground in a missile silo in South Dakota.
