Memorial Day in Wilton Begins with Breakfast of Champions

Wilton Memorial Day 2025: Honoring Our Heroes

Next Monday, May 26, we observe Memorial Day—a day to honor and remember the military personnel who gave their lives in service to our country.

The day begins with a cherished Wilton tradition: the Wilton Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast, held at the Congregational Church (70 Ridgefield Road, Wilton) from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM. The breakfast takes place rain or shine.

At 10:00 AM, the Memorial Day Parade will proceed through Wilton’s town center and continue to Hillside Cemetery, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM.

This year’s Keynote Speaker is Marine Corps veteran Robert Wilby. The Honorary Parade Grand Marshal is Alex Ruskewicz, a U.S. Army veteran being honored posthumously.

Roads will begin closing at 9:30 AM, including:

  • Ridgefield Road (between Danbury Road and Drum Hill Road)
