Please join us on Wednesday, May 21 at 9:00 am for an informative and interactive 90-minute workshop designed to help our local nonprofits develop Boards with clear roles and engaged members. The session’s content will help build participants’ understanding of the board’s role and how it evolves over time, governance as leadership, fostering a healthy dynamic between the Board and Executive Director, and establishing priorities, structures, and practices that promote effective functioning and board member engagement.
This workshop is open to all but it is designed for nonprofit leaders, current Board members, and community members who may be interested in serving on a Board. A networking segment will follow the workshop. Simple breakfast refreshments will be provided.
