WILTON, Conn. – The Wilton Chamber of Commerce will kick off the First Annual Restaurant Week, from Monday, March 11 through Saturday, March 16. All establishments located in Wilton and Georgetown are invited to participate by featuring special culinary selections or one-week-only pricing to encourage diners to come for lunch or dinner.
Chamber President Peg Koellmer said, "This concept has been a wildly successful annual event in many other Connecticut cities. Restaurant Week in Wilton is a first-time event for the Chamber designed to promote dining out right here in town. Wilton has so many diverse cuisines to choose from including Southwestern, Italian, Chinese, French, Mexican and American, but many people just end up going to the same places each time. This is an opportunity to explore new tastes and revisit favorites. We expect that most restaurateurs will be excited to be part of this new event to promote their business and attract additional customers."
