The Discovery Center at Ridgefield is hosting a Snowshoe program for adults and children ages 12 and up, on Sunday, January 22nd at 1:00 P.M. starting from the Ridgefield Golf Course entrance in Ridgefield.
This is an opportunity to try using a pair of snowshoes with instructions and tips. Experience the fresh air of a beautiful winter afternoon. This program is always a popular way to learn something new, and get some exercise on a snowy day.
Participants should wear sturdy boots. A limited number of snowshoes will be available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants should bring their own snowshoes if possible. Meet in the parking lot of the Ridgefield Golf Course on Ridgebury Road. Program will only occur if there is adequate snow-cover.
