The Life & Art of Dorothy Weir in the 1920's this Saturday

This Saturday, November 1, Weir Farm National Historic Site will offer a one-hour program focused on the life and work of Dorothy Weir Young, including a presentation and behind-the-scenes look at some of the park's collection items. The 1920s represent a turning point in the lives of many women, including Dorothy Weir.

She was a shining example of a modern woman in the 20s - not a flapper girl, but an independent, driven and respected woman, a woman whose ambition and hard work led to the preservation of Weir Farm National Historic Site and made an impact in the art world that continues to resonate.

Weir Farm is located at 735 Nod Hill Rd, Wilton, Connecticut
