Monday in Wilton: Book Talk & Signing with "Fearless and Free" Author Wendy Sachs

The Wilton Library will welcome Wendy Sachs, author of "Fearless and Free: How Smart Women Pivot – and Relaunch Their Careers," for a book talk and signing on Monday, March 30 from 7-8:30 p.m. A Q&A will follow the talk.

"Fearless and Free" was one of Oprah's “17 Books to Read this Spring.”

Sachs talked to a wide range of women who faced down fears, roadblocks, and failures to reinvent themselves. Faced with a wild job market, technology changing daily, and industries morphing on the spot, many women feel forced to pivot to stay relevant, while others choose to pivot to keep engaged. Or they may be struggling to get back into the workforce after taking time off to raise kids.

Sachs discusses the insights and experiences of those interviewed together with current research and actionable advice. There is no charge for the program, but registration is highly recommended. Books will be available for purchase and signing courtesy of Elm Street Books. Click here to register.

Wilton Library is located at 137 Old Ridgefield Road in Wilton, Conn. For more information, phone (203) 762-6334, or visit wiltonlibrary.org.
