Music on the Hill bell ringers will make holiday shopping merry at the Westport Barnes & Noble store, 1076 Post Road East. Bells will play at intervals during the afternoon from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9. Kids can join in with sleigh bells! Stop by the greeting table to say you've come for bells and to chat with Music on the Hill folks.
Hear the full Jubilate Ringers handbell choir on Friday, December 14, in the annual "Sounds of the Season" concert with the Festival Chorus. The ringers will premiere a new work for handbells and chorus by Artistic Director Ellen Dickinson: Stars over Snow: An English Christmas. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Wilton, 36 New Canaan Road. Admission is free, with donations welcome: $20 suggested.
