February Fun at Ambler Farm: Tap-a-Tree and Valentine's Day Tea!

Join the February fun at Ambler Farm!

Ambler Farm will be hosting two events in February, Maple Syrup tap-a-tree and Valentine’s Tea.   On Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10am or 1pm join us for Maple Syrup Tap-A-Tree.

Learn the science and history of maple syruping by being a hands-on part of the process. There will be two training sessions offered; only ONE session is required for training. Participants will choose a tree and hang their bucket that will collect sap. We will send regular updates on the running of the sap so participants can come to the Farm to collect sap from their tree. We will boil down the sap in our sugar shack and send each family home with their very own bottle of Ambler Farm maple syrup.

The season runs from early February to mid-March. Maple syrup production is winter farming and, therefore, weather dependent. A typical season is five weeks long. If participants are traveling during February or March, we will collect sap for them. Enrollment is limited to 110 families. This program sold out quickly in previous years, so please do not wait to sign up! The number of trees at the Farm is limited, so we are unable to accommodate late requests or wait lists.

The cost of this program is $60 per member family, $65 per non-member family.

On Saturday, February 9^th from 2-4pm come spend a cozy afternoon with your little Valentine at our annual Tea! Enjoy platters of delicious sandwiches and sweets galore, and have fun making a craft to take home. The Tea is a popular event and sells out quickly.   The cost for this event is $25 per adult and $12 per child.
