Lecture on the Versaille Treaty at Wilton Library on May 23

The Wilton Library will host the next lecture in its World War One series presented by Wilton resident Jean-Pierre Lavielle. This lecture will take place on Thursday, May 23 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. and explores the Versailles Treaty that ended WWI in 1919, the story of a failure that led to a tragedy, WWII.
 
Please note that the Treaty of Sèvres (1920) which dismantled the Ottoman Empire and helped to create the modern Middle East will be presented in its own lecture at a later date.
