Jazz Masters Series at Sarah's Wine Bar features Virginia Mayhew Quartet on Sunday, July 28 at 6:30 PM

Virginia Mayhew is an acclaimed saxophonist, band leader, composer, and arranger, who has been active in the New York City jazz scene since 1987. She has performed and recorded with jazz greats throughout her career and has twice represented The United States as a Jazz Ambassador. CD's under her own name include "Mary Lou Williams- The Next 100 Years", a tribute to the great pianist, composer, and arranger, who is widely considered one of the most important figures in jazz. She is the musical director for the Duke Ellington Legacy Band and the Duke Ellington Legacy Big Band.

The first set begins at 6:30pm, so we recommend making your reservations for 6:00pm.
