Bag It: Is Your Life Too Plastic? Film Screening and Discussion at Wilton Library on Wednesday, October 23, 7-8:30 pm

Wilton Go Green and Wilton Library present a screening of the film: Bag-It: Is Your Life Too Plastic? as part of their Green Speaker Series with special thanks to Planet New Canaan. This 2010 American documentary film exposes the effects of plastic bags and other plastic consumer merchandise and their impact on land ecosystems, the marine environment, and the human body.
 
A brief Q&A session will follow the film with Jeannine Behr Getz and Lynne Vanderslice.Jeannine Behr Getz is the author of the award-winning book Think Green! Lynne Vanderslice is the first Selectwoman of Wilton whose administration has implemented a number of environmental initiatives.
 
Doors open at 6:30pm. Film starts promptly at 7pm.
